How to play
- 01
The clues
Numbers beside each row and above each column list the runs of consecutive filled cells in that line, in order.
- 02
Groups & gaps
Several numbers mean several filled groups, always separated by at least one empty cell and kept in the order shown.
- 03
Fill and mark
Click a cell to fill it. Right-click — or press X — to mark a cell you have proven empty, so it stays out of your way.
- 04
Empty lines
A clue of 0 means the entire row or column stays empty. Those blank lines are strong anchors for their neighbours.
- 05
The picture
Satisfy every row and column and the filled cells reveal a hidden pixel picture. A proper puzzle has exactly one solution.

Six ways to read the grid
Overlap method
For large clues, cells that stay filled no matter where the block slides must be filled for certain.
Edge logic
When a block has to start at an edge, you can lay out its full extent immediately.
Full lines
When the clues plus their minimum gaps equal the line length, there's only one arrangement.
Mark empty cells
Use × marks to track cells you have proven empty — they quietly constrain the crossing lines.
Work the crossings
Every filled cell belongs to both a row and a column clue. Use one direction to unlock the other.
Start with the big runs
Lines with large numbers or a single long run hand you the most guaranteed cells first.
