How to Play Hashi
Overview
Hashi (橋, Japanese for "bridge"), also known as Hashiwokakero or Bridges, is a Japanese logic puzzle. Connect all islands with horizontal or vertical bridges so that each island has exactly the number of bridges indicated by its number.

Rules
- 1Each island must have exactly the number of bridges shown on it.
- 2Build at most 2 bridges between any pair of islands.
- 3Bridges run horizontally or vertically (no diagonals).
- 4Bridges cannot cross other bridges or pass through islands.
- 5All islands must be connected in one group when complete.

Solving Strategies
High Numbers
Islands with 7 or 8 have limited options (max 2 bridges per direction).
Corner Islands
A "4" in a corner must have 2 bridges in each of its 2 directions.
Avoid Isolation
Two adjacent "2"s can share at most 1 bridge to avoid being isolated.
Edge Islands
A "6" on an edge (3 directions) must have 2 bridges in each direction.
